Colorado Junior Wheelchair Sports Camp

The Colorado Junior Wheelchair Sports Camp enables youth with disabilities to enjoy the same experience a day camp provides to their able-bodied peers. It will be most beneficial for youth with the ability to learn the rules of specific sports. This FREE sports camp is limited to the first 120 students with disabilities ages 6-21. The sports camp is scheduled daily, from 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. beginning Monday, June 5th through Friday June 9th.

Honor Bell Foundation

The Honor Bell is the first tolling bell cast in U.S. history with the sole purpose of rendering a final honor to United States Service Members killed in action and United States Armed Forces Veterans. It is tolled exclusively by veterans and active-duty servicemembers. It is a custom-designed, thirty-seven-inch diameter, forty-inch tall, stationary bronze bell that weighs one thousand pounds.

Military Band-Aid Softball Tournament

The Military Band-Aid Softball Tournament is the second largest military softball tournament in the world, and is hosted in the beautiful city of Colorado Springs, Colorado. Being ranked as one of the top three military towns as well as being centrally located within the continental United States, it is just a natural fit for the tournament to continuously be hosted within the city

Mt Carmel Veterans Center

Carmel Veterans Service Center provides transition and employment assistance, behavioral health and wellness, supportive services, connection to community resources, and safe event space for veterans, military members and their families. Mt. Carmel was a dream of Mr. Jay Cimino and his strong desire to support our veteran community in meaningful ways.

Tee It Up for Veterans

On July 17, 2023, a group of local Colorado Veterans will be hosting the 2nd “Tee it Up for Veterans” golf tournament benefiting Helping Heroes, a national advocate for our nation’s veterans, service members, first responders and their families. Helping Heroes’ mission is to provide opportunities that improve the lives of trauma-exposed veterans and first responders through peer-to-peer support programs which foster camaraderie and healing. Helping Heroes aims to give back to the families of these heroes in a way that they deserve.
